February 22 – “The Beauty Buzz: No More Beauty B.S.!” - presented by Victoria Snee, AP Award winning journalist and co-host of the morning drive radio show “The Morning Mix.” on MIX 102.9. Victoria will share with us the many beauty tips she’s learned over the years from research as well as interviews with some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, including Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston and Victoria Beckham just to name a few.
March 22 – An Entertaining Idea! – A new & innovative entertainment center is coming to Irving. Hear a first-hand presentation by Lou Dickstein who will be joined at the end by Charles Cotton, Developer Liaison with the City of Irving, for a Q&A follow up. You will also see a scaled model of the first-of-its-kind concert hall.
April 26 – Networking Activity – “You Didn’t Know Me When …..”
May 24 - “Selling for Geniuses” – presented by Coach Rick Kolster. Rick will share his methods about how to get referral business and stop the insanity of having to continually refill your pipeline. Check out Rick’s website: www.coachrick.net
June 28 - Wired That Way – presented by Kim Schuld – The Life Journey Coach – www.thelifejourneycoach.com- Life coach, fitness coach and motivational speaker – Learn the keys to observing other people’s personalities and how to have more productive and satisfying communication with them. Learn how to recognize your own hardwiring and personal needs in order to amplify your strengths and overcome your weaknesses. Join us as Kim intersperses humor with thought-provoking insight. She will engage us to evaluate our life journeys on the spot and challenge us to reach for higher productivity and satisfaction in our personal and professional lives.
July 26 - Revamp My Wardrobe – Create Clothing Capsules – presented by Lauren Bailey of Flawlessly Fashioned – wardrobe consultant and personal shopper – www.flawlesslyfashioned.com – Learn to develop capsules of clothing that mix and match to create the maximum number of outfits. Determine how to utilize what you currently have in your closet and how to make perfect purchase decisions in the future that iwll increase the value of your clothing capsule.
August 23 - Leading Yourself and How It Affects Your Ability to Lead Others – presented by Mary Amoedo, Executive Consultant, Ambit Energy
September 27 - ”Marketing Ideas for a Small Biz Budget” – presented by John D. Carroll of Tres Coaching Services. Marketing strategies and ideas you can start to implement today to grow your small business regardless of the size of your budget. Many of these ideas can be implemented with little or no cash required.
October 25 - “Dealing with Difficult People” – presented by Randy Swain of Coaching for Relevance, LLD.
November 15 (3rd Tuesday) - Mini Expo – Jewelry – southwest and fine, crafts, make up, etc. Bring cash …… shop for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries …….. or yourself! Learn about opportunities to market your business, donate to worthy causes, and, of course, everything IWN! We’re adding an extra 30 minutes to the end of our luncheon – we will close at 1:30 pm.
December 13 (2nd Tuesday) - IWN’s Annual Holiday Celebration
